Duane Antle is the fire chief of Come By Chance and president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services. He has spent three decades protecting his community and others, leading initiatives such as free smoke alarm drives, autism awareness courses for over 3,500 first responders, and compassionate CISM peer support. In 2020, he earned the Canadian Volunteer Fire Services Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
