Dolph Penny | 75x75 Interview Series
In our 75x75 series kickoff, Rod Etheridge and Sarah Antle bring us the first interview, spotlighting Allan Adolphus Penny, affectionately known as Dolph. Born in 1929 in Battle Harbour, Labrador, Dolph's journey with boat building, a craft that has defined both his life and legacy, began at the age of 17. As we commemorate the 75th anniversary of Newfoundland joining Canada, Dolph, at the age of 94, completed his latest masterpiece. His story, marking the beginning of our interview series, showcases the enduring spirit inherent to Newfoundland and Labrador, echoing the resilience and pride of our communities through decades.
